Does this Update concern me?

It is easy to tell. Check for the machined groove on the angled area of the barb top.

If you DO If you have the groove then your parts are current - you don't need to go with the update.

You can also compare the part number of 1432/1433 to the old part number of 1132/1133 but that might be covered by hose if the thermostat is installed.
