Description

Some 2023-up KTM/Husqvarna/GASGAS bikes have a plastic tube up in the frame that threads to the radiator "Y-piece" splitter. It must be removed to install the CATH1594 thermostat kit. It has a 30mm hex on it, so you will be able to unthread it easily if you have a 6-point 30mm socket (some users have reported that KTM's design is too rounded to engage with their 12-point sockets). You can also use a small pipe wrench or similar on the hex, IF you wouldn't mind the potential scuffs.

Or, if you'd rather, just add this CNC 30mm "adapter socket" to your cart! We sell it cheap as chips as a service to our customers. It can also make your life slightly easier when threading in the C3 thermostat. Please read the full Instructions in the tab below if you haven't yet.

CATH1594 Install
(KTM 250/300/350 etc)

The housing used in CATH1594 thermostat kits uniquely replaces a certain KTM OEM component, which means the install method is probably different from what you're used to! Please read the procedure below.
