Direct replacement for OEM, but up to 60% stronger. Compatible with either the original rubber anti-vibe cones or the rigid "rubber kills". MORE THAN 50% SAVINGS compared to OEM replacements' MSRP!
The aluminum M10 threaded bushing/nut that is used at the bottom of the top triple clamp to secure the bar clamps/risers on KTM/Husqvarna "race bikes" (most 2016-22 SX/SXF/XC/XCF/TC/FC/TX/FX 250 300 350 and 450s. NOT found on EXC/FE 450/500's or 2023-up (incl 2022 Factory Edition)) is a good design, but the original ones tend to wear out over time, and can even fail entirely. This is especially the case if using bar risers of any kind, as they increase the leverage on this joint.
The factory KTM part that these replace is 79001037034 "HANDLEBAR SUPPORT LOWER PART". It's the same for Husqvarna. And yes, the MSRP for these pieces at the time of writing is over $60 USD / $85 CAD EACH! Crazy!
We were tired of seeing failures at this part (and paying way too much!) so we've machined our own! Why just copy something when you can improve it though - so we added material to increase strength and longevity at the flange and the hex by 40% and 67% respectively.
It's a no-brainer to go with these if you need to replace your OEM ones, and in fact we'd recommend it as a proactive changeover before you head out into the backcountry to lower your chance of potential headaches.
Note these parts do NOT appear on GasGas triple clamps.
